Oral Cancer Check

Oral cancer affects more than 4000 people each year, and contrary to popular belief, it does not only affect those who use tobacco.

That’s why visual and tactile screenings for the early warning signs of oral cancer are part of every six-month checkup and teeth cleaning at Dental Flossophy.

Some of the early warning signs of oral cancer can be:

  • sores that don’t heal
  • soft tissue discolouration
  • lumps
  • bumps
  • rough-textured areas
  • chronic cough or sore throat

If you notice anything that seems unusual, please make contact with us and don’t hesitate to contact us between visits.
